GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.
  
GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado. 
!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

Meet Oscar! He was found as a stray and taken to a shelter where no one came to claim him. The shelter's volunteers were very dedicated to getting this boy to rescue and provided the amazing pictures you see here! Oscar is indeed a special boy and everyone who meets this boy just falls in love.

Oscar came to us extremely thin at 91 pounds. He's got quite a bit of weight to gain! He tested positive for intestinal parasites, which have been treated, and unfortunately tested positive for heartworms as well. He'll begin heartworm treatment next month and then be ready for adoption in early November.

So far Oscar has been good with cats and dogs. The vet estimates his age between 1.5 and 2 years old, so he is still a bit of a puppy in the world of Mastiffs!

 

Oscar is being fostered in Stillwater, OK.
