Meet Missy! She was rescued from a rural shelter. She had been adopted out through there before, but then returned by the family because she was "too big". She is estimated at 3 years old. Missy is super sweet and friendly and loves everyone she meets! She was reported to live with kids in her previous home but due to her very strong whip-like tail, she needs kids that aren't face level with that! She does well with cats but we are currently evaluating what type of dog she can be placed with. Missy is very uncertain about other dogs right now and really doesn't want to interact with them. She prefers being with people over dog but seems to do OK with dogs who give her space and leave her alone, she doesn't like dogs near her face. It's possible she had a bad experience so we're trying to make all of her doggie experience positive ones. She would not be good for a multi-dog household or someone who wants a dog to bring to an off-leash dog park.

Missy has thunderstorm anxiety and is terrified of thunder. She will need to be medicated prior to storms to keep her calm. Other than that, she is just about perfect!

Missy is being fostered in Guthrie, OK.
