***Special Needs***Foster Needed****

Meet Dudley! He is a 1 year old pup who was surrendered by his owner when their daughter developed allergies to him. Shortly after coming into rescue we realized Dudley's hind end just didn't look quite right and quickly had him evaluated by an orthopedic specialst. Sadly Dudley has hip dyplasia in one of his hips. He gets around fine but with very heavy activity he does limp a bit, so needs a family who can provide light daily exercise and keep him lean. The specialist said that due to his young age, it is not recommended to try any surgery at this time but he may need a hip surgery in the future. However there is a chance his ligaments could tighten up with time.

Dudley needs a special home who understands his needs that be willing to provide whatever medical care may be in his future and adoption fee will be waived as such.

Dudley is  140 pound dopey puppy who is super happy and is full of energy. He is working to improve his manners but does know some basic commands like sit and down, and he's really come along in his training. He is good with kids but does get very excited when they are around so would probably do best with either older kids or a family who is dedicated to helping him understand how to play. The same is true for other dogs – he loves them and wants to play but doesn’t realize how big and bouncy he is. He is curious with cats but is aware that they may be able to hurt him so is somewhat cautious. He is a very sweet boy with a handsome face you can’t help but love.

Dudley is being fostered in Tulsa, OK
