Meet Cheyenne! This sweet girl was found wandering a country road in horrible shape. She is one of the worst starvation cases we've ever seen. She was about 1/2 the weight that she should be and missing about 3/4 of her hair. Cheyenne was rescued by another rescuer and transferred to GPMR for her medical rehabiliation.

Despite the neglect she's suffered, Cheyenne is one of the sweetest girls we've ever met. She has such a gentle nature that this breed is known for. She is just happy to be fed and loved now.

Cheyenne will be on medical hold probably until October. She needs to have xrays of her hips due to the limping we're seeing in her back end. But she needs to be a healthy weight enough to have sedation first and that will take time. In just 2 weeks she gained 16 pounds, so she is well on her way!

Cheyenne is being fostered in Oklahoma City, OK
