Meet Rose! She came into rescue with her sister Sophia when there was an unplanned breeding with a family's female Mastiff and their brother's Standard Poodle, and they weren't able to find homes for all of the puppies. They certainly do have a very interesting look about them and their personalities are a blend of these two breeds. Rose is already 80 pounds at 8 months old, so she will be a large dog when full grown. She has more a wirey coat that is seen in some poodle crosses and yes she does shed!

Rose loves to play with other dogs and so we want her to go with a family who has a playmate for her. However she doesn't do well with small dogs, so a medium to larger size canine companion would be best. She does have more energy than your average Mastiff and so this playtime is good exercise for her. She also loves kids so we would like her to have children in her forever home as well.

Rose is being fostered in St. Joseph, MO
