Meet Kiki! She was rescued from a shelter in TX just in the nick of time, she was on her last day. She had a bit of a rough start with us, first she came down with a bad upper respiratory infection from the shelter and was sick for a couple of weeks with that. She covered and was healthy enough for her spay surgery. The surgery itself went great but about 5 days later she chewed her stitches out and have to have a second surgery. Poor Kiki! Despite her medical setbacks, she's just been a super sweet dog throughout, loving the extra attention she's been getting at the vet's office. The vet estimated Kiki at about 2 years old, but her foster parents think she could be as young as one. She still acts very much a puppy but at 90 pounds she is full grown and we think there could be something else in the mix, maybe some Boxer? It's hard to tell but with her smaller size and being more active than your average Mastiff, it's definitely possible. Kiki is excitable when meeting new people but has done great with the kids she's met. She has done well with other dogs but not recommended for a home with cats. We would love Kiki's adopters to continue the basic training we've started, she knows some commands but still need someone to show her the ropes. Is that family yours? Kiki is being fostered in Tulsa, OK. More about KikiGood with Dogs, Not Good with Cats, Good with Kids, Cratetrained, Plays fetch, Likes to play with toys, Playful, Affectionate, Goofy
