Meet Sister! She came into rescue with her Brother when they were confiscated from their owner as part of a neglect situation involving several dogs. It seems they lived outdoors in a kennel their whole life. They weren't fed very well, had ear and eye infections, are were infested with fleas and had terrible skin as a result. They both also tested positive for tick-related infection. Despite what they have suffered, Brother and Sister are the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. Their tails are just wagging non-stop!

Unfortunately that tail wagging led to chronic problems with the tip of her tail breaking open and bleeding, and it was decided that she would be better off having 2/3 of her tail amputated to prevent further injury and problems. Poor Sister had a rough recovery with her surgery but she's back to health now and looking amazing.

Sister wasn't in the rescue very long when an approved applicant took her on a foster trial and decided she was never leaving. We couldn't be happier!

Sister is being fostered in Yukon, OK.
