Welcome Greta to GPMR. Greta is a 16 month old puppy in perfect health. She has a beautiful face and dainty stature, for her breed, weighing in around 115lbs. She doesn’t drool much, if at all. While she has outgrown constant puppy energy, she does still enjoy playing with her toys and running around the yard. She’s house trained and crate trained.

Greta was surrendered because she struggled to get along with the alpha female dog she lived with. Greta is a diva, she loves being the only princess and wants to be spoiled and pampered. Like most diva personalities, Greta prefers to keep her circle tight. She’s nervous about strangers and dogs that she doesn’t know. We are working on socialization and this will need to be continued in any new environment. Obedience training will be required as part of her adoption to ensure a successful transition. She’s protective of her people and home, but her behaviors reveal that she’s actually pretty timid. She’s submissive to her people, she understands her name, the word no, and thrives on affection.

Greta's ideal home would be an adult only home or a home with kids 15+, and a home who doesn't have a lot of visitors. Meeting new people is scary for Greta so a quiet home would be a good match for her. A home without other pets would be best. If you think you have what it takes to handle this beauty queen who literally stares at herself in the mirror, reach out to to see if you could be her happily ever after.

Greta's adoption fee will be for her family to pay for her to attend a training class or private sessions, so they can get started on the right foot to integrating her into their home.

Greta is being fostered in Yukon, OK
