Meet Mindy! She came into GPMR with several of her relatives after being rescued by a local SPCA from a neglect situation. The breeder of these dogs was not providing adequate food or any vet care and turned them over to the SPCA. They were extremely underweight when they arrived at the SPCA. All of these dogs lived together and but were not socialized at all outside the home, and so in new situations they are very fearful. In their foster homes, they are doing great and do not show many signs of fear at all. We are working on leash training as only one of the dogs knew how to walk on a leash, the rest just dropped to the ground and wouldn't move. All of the dogs had fleas, intestinal parasites, and varying degrees of skin/ear/eye infections. The SPCA did an amazing job getting them started on the road to good health!

Mindy is 2 years old. She was one of the least fearful dogs in this group. She is very friendly and what's commonly referred to in the Mastiff world as an "attention hog". She will take all of the pats she can get! She is going to be a velcro Mastiff for sure.

Mindy loves to play with other dogs and so her forever home should have a playmate for her. She got a clean bill of health from the SPCA and is ready for adoption!

Mindy is being fostered in Shawnee, OK.
