Meet Samson! This fun loving pup found himself needing a new home. His original owners were no longer able to keep him, he was then rehomed to a friend of a friend, who gave him away on Facebook a few days later. Thankfully he found his way to GPMR so that we can spend some time getting to know Samson and finding him that perfect forever home! From what Samson's original owners reported to us, he was raised with kids. However he was also reported to be sometimes overprotective with strangers visiting the home, so we're looking for an adult-only home. Samson knows a couple of commands but he would benefit from some continued training. We've had a trainer start working with him now to establish some basic good-dog obedience stuff. We are requiring his adopters to have Mastiff-breed experience. He would do best with an owner who sets the rules in the house and doesn't let the dogs run the home! Samson has been good with the other dogs he's met while with us. He loves to play! We would recommend a home with medium and larger size dogs, he seems to get a fixated on small animals, so no small dogs or cats for this boy. He is a little over 2.5 years old, so still has some energy and would love some playtime in the yard with his family. Samson is being fostered in Edmond, OK.
