GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.
GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado.
!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

Monty was found wandering in a rural Oklahoma town in April 2011. A good samaritan picked up him and attempted to find the owners without luck, so he came into rescue. Monty is estimated at about 8 years old. He had been adopted by one of our volunteers but they had to move out of state unexpectedly and weren't able to take him. So he is back in foster care and looking for a retirement home! When Monty was in our rescue last year, he had a cancerous growth removed. So far it has not grown back and the vet said he seems to be in great health for his age. He does have some arthritis in his hips and knees, consistent with a dog his age so we have him on medications for that.
Monty is just an awesome dog, he does great with other animals, people, kids, you name it! This boy is a social butterfly and loves attending our adoption events. Please consider him for your family - he has lots of love to give!
