GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.
GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado.
!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

Update 5/6/2013: Stella is doing absolutely wonderful in foster! Still somewhat timid but building her confidence one step at a time. She will actually trott in on her own for meals and will walk off leash around the back yard by herself. Stella actually tried chewing on an elk antler and seemed to enjoy it! She is getting along with all her four legged foster brothers and sisters! One step at a time, however we are so pleased with her progress!
Update 2/22/13: Stella is really coming of shell and learning to love her foster family! She had an outing to the local pet store today to get her nails trimmed and did great. Stella met new people and new dogs and we're so proud of her progress. She is very bonded to the Dachsund in her foster home and they are the best of friends.
Welcome Stella! She was found, scared and emaciated at a jobsite, and kept safe until a GPMR volunteer was contacted and could get to her. She is very timid and enjoys the safety of her kennel. Slowly Stella is venturing out on her own and gradually learning she can trust the world again. She loves to be petted and talked to softly and just hang out. She has an old injury to her back leg which the vet reports has healed over time and is not causing her pain. She is a good girl and has not had an accident in the house and does well on a leash. Stella has tested positive for heartworms and is being treated.
