Brody is a young male Mastiff who was abandoned on someone's property. We estimate his age at 9-10 months old. He is a little on the shy side but his curiosity and love for attention get the better of him and he comes out of his shell very quickly. Today at the vet's office he was happy to give the girls lots of kisses! He has done well with the other dogs we've seen him with. He seems in fairly good health except he is limping on his front leg and may have a problem with his elbow. We plan to have X-rays done next week so we can find out what the problem is. He is a very loving dog and still has a lot of growing to do, so he'll be a big boy!

Update 6/8/08: Brody is doing great in foster care. He loves playing with his Mastiff foster sister and enjoys being with the kids. He is a great dog!
We did have his shoulder Xrayed and he has a condition called an Ununited Anconeal Process - you can read more about it here: http://www.vsasurgery.com/surgery/orthopedic/uap.asp.htm
His elbow joint didn't form properly when he was a pup so there is a loose piece of bone that will need to be removed so he doesn't have pain in that leg anymore. We have been given a $1000 estimate to fix Brody's leg, please consider donating today to help this wonderful boy!
