Joe C or Josey, aka Mo, is the sweetest dog. She would be great for a single lady, who has time to spend loving on her. Josey is very shy toward men, but she is getting better. She sits, shakes, hi-fives and loves to drink water from the hose or bathtub. She is a little stubborn at first, like if she isn’t ready to go outside. Josey completely ignores the cat, because to acknowledge the cat would be too much effort. She is a true gently giant. When Josey first came to us, two weeks ago, she wouldn’t get off the ‘her’ chair and would barely eat or go outside. Now she sleeps on the floor by our bed, wakes me up to take her outside, eats all her food and water, loves her treats and to follow me around the house and even wags her tail. She does still look at my husband as the enemy, but she doesn’t care if he pets her, gives her treats or anything else that shows her attention. Josey sleeps about 20 hours a day and has running dreams, which can resemble an earthquake. Josey would do well in a quiet home with older children, due to her age and shyness, younger children would not be best.  With lots of love and attention, Josey will come out of her shell and continue to be a great dog.

Josey is currently being fostered in Tulsa, OK
