PLEASE NOTE: GPMR communicates primarily by email. GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.

GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado.

!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

Meet Hoss! He came into our rescue when his owner was moving out of state and not able to bring him with her. They had adopted Hoss from a shelter originally so we don't know how old he is but the vet estimates about 6.5 years old. Hoss lived with other dogs in his previous home and has done well with dogs while with us. We don't know how he is with cats.

Hoss is current on vaccines and tested negative for heartworms. He was treated for intestinal parasites and ear infections, both of which are pretty common for our new rescues. He is a super sweet boy and reminds us of Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh - such a droopy face! Like most Mastiffs he love to lounge on the couch.

Since we don't have any history of Hoss with young kids, a home no kids under 14 would be best. He is a bit nervous in new situations, so he would prefer a family where he can be a homebody. Hoss needs a family who has Mastiff or other guardian breed experience.
