Meet Hope! She was recently transferred to GPMR by a private rescuer. Hope was originally rescued from the streets of Houston where she was wandering as a stray for several months until someone was able to catch her and start her rehabilitation. Hope was extremely underweight and missing a lot of her hair. She was in really rough shape at that time, but you'd never know that by looking at her now. The vet estimates her at about 5 years old and she is close to 100 lbs.

Hope is good with other dogs but not recommended for dog parks or doggie daycare situations with large amounts of dogs as it's too overwhelming for her. Otherwise she does fine and she's been around kids of varying ages and has done well with them. Hope is what we call a "pocket Mastiff" as she has a small frame, so if you want a Mastiff but not a 200lb dog, she would be a good match for you!

Hope is being fostered in Wichita Falls, TX
