Meet Tiny! He came to GPMR when his owner was moving and could not take him with her. She originally rescued him a couple of years ago from a situation where he was very neglected and underweight. Unfortunately she wasn't able to keep up with Tiny's vet care in the last year or so, and he tested positive for heartworms at his first vet visit with us.

Tiny just turned 5 and he weighs 140 lbs. He's doing well with the other dogs he's met, both big and small. He seems good with kids but due to his size, homes with kids ages 5 and up would be best. He's a big boy and has no idea of his size - he thinks he's a lap dog! He loves attention and to play; his foster parents are working on teaching him some basic commands and he's a fast learner! He knows how to use a doggy door as well.

Tiny will be ready for adoption in April once he's completed his heartworm treatment. Feel free to submit an application, we'd love to have his family lined up and ready to go!

Tiny is being fostered outside of Springfield, MO.
