Welcome Sage to Rescue! Sage was surrendered to us by her owners; she was run over by a car some time in May in their driveway and then ran off into the woods. It was over a week before she returned to their property and she got to the vet, it was discovered her leg was broken. By the time we were notified she was needing rescue, the leg could not be saved due to the amount of infection and length of time that had passed.

Sweet Sage had surgery to amputate the leg and is now in one of our foster homes. She's getting around great on 3 legs! Sage doesn't miss a beat. She loves hanging out with her foster sister so she would love to have a canine companion in her forever home. Her previous owner said she was good with kids but older kids 6 and up would probaby be best for her.

Sage is what we call a "pocket Mastiff" at 90 lbs. :)

Sage is being fostered in Shawnee, OK
