Welcome Harley to GPMR! She was surrendered by her owners when they just didn't have any time for her. She spent a lot of her time outside in her yard and unfortunately wasn't socialized outside of her home. As a result, she is a bit fearful meeting new people and having new experiences outside the home. We've consulted with a trainer and have started a training regimen with her to help build her confidience and slowly socialize her to new experiences. We're looking for a home who is patient and understands Harley's needs, and is willing to continue the positive reinforcement training that her foster parents have started. At home she is just fine and sweet as pie with her foster parents but meeting new people and going new places is a bit stressful for her. A quiet home without a lot of visitors would be ideal for her.

Harley is doing great with the other dog in her foster home. She met a cat at the vet's office and was very curious but didn't show any aggression. Harley would do best in an adult only home with breed experience, and experience with rescue dogs is a huge plus! We also would like to see her with a confident canine companion who can show her the ropes. This girl has a lot of love and she bonds quickly with her people.

Harley is being fostered in Norman, OK.
