Meet Lexi! She is a beautiful 5.5 year old female Mastiff. Lexi came into rescue when her owner's elderly mother moved into the home. Being a Mastiff, Lexi was constantly by her side and she almost fell over Lexi several times. It became too much of a concern that mom was going to fall over Lexi and injure herself, So her owner reluctantly gave Lexi to our Rescue.

Lexi weighs in at a svelte 97#. She is a total love bug. She gets along with other dogs and loves to play and cuddle. Cats are unknown at this time.

She is house and crate trained, but she is perfect left loose in the house when she is home alone. Doesn't get into anything or chew things up. She is a total couch potato!

It's pretty clear that Lexi was not socialized outside of her home much in her previous life, and as such she is very scared of meeting new people. She does fantastic with her foster family but when guests come over, she runs and hides under the table. Because of this, an adult only home would be best for her. Her new owners will need to be patient while she adjust and give her a quiet spot to stay when guests visit the house.

Lexi had a good checkup at the vet and tested negative for heartworms, and is ready for adoption!

Lexi is being fostered in Tulsa, OK.
