GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.
  
GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado. 
!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

This is Sugar. GPMR was able to step in and rescue Sugar and her sister Cinnamon when we were notified that they had not been fed in 3 days, were drinking old water, and were living in the bushes trying to stay cool. Both are heartworm positive and started treatment 6/27/09.  The heartworm treatment will take 30 days of crate rest and limited activity.  They will be ready for their new homes after 7/27/09.  To learn more about heartworms, please visit our website http://www.greatplainsmastiffrescue.org/info/display?PageID=5578 .


No children under 10 years of age.  Young children make her nervous. Sugar loves,loves, loves other dogs, however, she likes to boss them around. A more submissive dog would be best. No small animals. Both girls are as sweet as pie!
