Meet Duke! This sweet boy was found in an industrial area and after being on the property for several days and unable to find an owner, he was rescued by a private citizen. Unfortunately her older Mastiffs were not very happy to have this teenage puppy trying to play all the time, so GPMR was contacted to take Duke.

The vet estimates Duke at about 16 months old. Like most Mastiffs that age, he is still very much puppy and playful, so a home without older dogs would be a best match for him. Duke is dog friendly, he is curious about cats but doesn't try to chase them or anything like that. His foster is working on crate training and has gotten him housebroken.

Duke enjoys going on walks but he does pull a bit, so he would do best with a family who is able to work with him on basic obedience and leash training. He's good natured, just needs someone to show him the ropes!

Duke is being fostered in Fayetteville, AR.
