Meet Whitney! She was taken into an all-breed rescue when her owner could no longer keep her. Shortly after she was transferred to GPMR. Whitney has a gorgeous brindle coat, she is just beautiful!

Whitney is a petite Mastiff girl and about 1.5 years old. She definitely was overwhelmed coming to us. It doesn't seem like she was socialized outside of her home, and so everything was scary to her, especially the car rides. She just laid down on the ground like a pancake and didn't want to move. In foster care she is really coming along. She loves the kids in the home as well as the other dogs.

Whitney's adoptive family will need to continue working on building her confidence. She nees slow and positive exposure to new situations so she understands that new things don't have to be so scary!

Whitney is fostered in the SW corner of MO.
