GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.
  
GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado. 
!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

Meet Deacon! This boy was rescued by a good samaritan when his owner was not able to keep him. Unfortunately her small dogs didn't like him and then he was getting out of the yard and wandering off, so she decided that he should come into GPMR.

Deacon came to us with a large growth next to his eye. When the vet did his neuter surgery, they tried to remove it but didn't get all of it out. The eye has improved a lot where he won't need another surgery, but he will need to stay on eye medications for the rest of his life. Other than this and a mild ear infection, Deacon has been a healthy boy!

He gets along with dogs of all sizes (small dogs too, as long as they aren't trying to attack him!) and cats as well. We do not have any history of Deacon with kids so a home with kids 12+ or an adult only home would be best. Deacon is a true velcro Mastiff and likes to be with his people all the time. A home where someone is home for part of the day would be best for him.
