Meet Harley! Harley is a very sweet young pup who recently turned 1. He came into rescue when his owner was not able to keep him. Harley was well cared for, he is house broken and is comfortable with a dog door. Harley does okay on a leash, with some more practice, he will be just fine.

Harley is social and loves meeting new people and has done well around other dogs. Harley is food motivated so he has been easy to work with. He isn’t a fan of getting in the car but with a little motivation he climbs in.

He is a big PUPPY that doesn’t understand his size. He can be a bit mouthy and because of his energy level,  we would not recommend a home with small children.  He doesn’t bite hard but will grab anything he can reach if he wants to play.  He would do best with older kids 10 and up.

He is a typical mastiff, wants to be with you and leans on anyone that is close. Like many Mastiffs who come into our rescue, he's had some separation anxiety when being left alone which has resulted in him being destructive. We've started him on some medications to get him over the hump and he's doing better. We don't think he will need to be on them long term however.

Harley is a funny boy, and when he is tired or bored, he just flops down like he has no bones! His ideal home will have an energetic dog that he can run and play with to help burn off that excess energy and this will help his separation anxiety as well.

Harley is fully vetted and ready for adoption! He is being fostered outside of Ft. Worth, TX.
