Meet Cabo.  He is a 2 year old brindle Mastiff.  He had quite an interesting journey on the way to GPMR!  His owner is in the military and had to go overseas and Cabo could not come, so GPMR took him in.  When Cabo was getting out of the car at the volunteer's home, he got very scared and backed out of his collar and ran into the woods.  He then decided that he would hang around the neighborhood and live in the woods for about a week or so.  Many people went to find him but he was very confused and didn't know where he was so he kept hiding in the woods.  We were very relieved when we caught him!

Cabo has done great in foster care.  He bonded with his foster family and dogs very quickly, but he is still shy in new situations.  He is very much a homebody but is learning to enjoy his outings with his foster mom.  He's come to several GPMR events and done very well.  He enjoys days of playing with his foster doggie siblings and lounging on the couch.  He has a lot of love to give and would be your contstant companion.  As you can see from his pictures he has a lot of personality!  Please consider Cabo for home today!

Cabo is being fostered in Mustang, OK.
