GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.
  
GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado. 
!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

Meet May.  She is a 1.5 year old female and weighs 95 pounds.  She is very subdued and reserved at first, but extremely affectionate once she warms up to you.  She likes to follow you around the house.  This girl prefers women and has some basic training already - she knows "sit" and "down".  However she freezes up on the leash so her foster mom is working on getting her used to leash walks and also teaching her that she doesn't need to be afraid of men.

May does well with other dogs but does not like to share her food.  She came from a place where she was chained up outside all day and not given much attention or enough food to eat.  May was very skinny when she was first rescued so she probably is afraid that the other dogs will take her food and she won't get to eat.  Her foster mom is teaching her to not worry, the food bowl will always be full for her now!

At her vet visit May was diagnosed with a tick disease so we are treating her for that.  Because May did not live with kids previously, we won't place her in a home with young children.  She is a wonderful girl who so deserves a loving home where she can live inside with her family - is that home yours?

May is being fostered in Sapulpa, OK.
