GPMR took in a litter of English Mastiff/Great Dane puppies, they came into our rescue at 6 days old, as their owner did not want them.  They have been boarding with their mom for the first 5 weeks of their life at a veterinarian in Tulsa, OK. Momma Madison is a purebred fawn English Mastiff, and dad is a purebred black Great Dane. Mom is very emaciated and has received treatment so she can supply nutrients to her pups.  She is doing a wonderful job and now has 5 little butterball puppies!

We held a “Name that Puppy” fundraiser and this puppy’s winners were Deb and Ross. They said, “Just wanted to let you know that we'd like to name the pup,'Fred', after our late husky-lab of the same name.  Our Fred was also a girl, so named because that's what Ross calls everyone and everything whose name he doesn't remember, can't spell, or can't pronounce.  Our Fred lived to the ripe old age of 17. May her namesake have just as long, healthy, and happy a life.”

Fred is a lover!  She wants to be cuddled and loved all the time.  She is very attached to the children and other dog in her foster home.  She loves toys, and is pretty active and likes to romp in the yard.  She is doing well with her house breaking and crate training.

Fred is one of 4 female puppies in this litter. These pups will be ready to go to their new homes when they are 9 weeks old.
