Sammie is a sweet, calm soul. She is a very healthy 7-8 years old, and while she has had a streak of bad luck, she is looking for that perfect forever home. Unfortunately for Sammie, her first owner had to give her up because she had cancer, and her second owner couldn't keep her because of other unexpected health issues with the family. So, once again, sweet Sammie is looking for a home. Sammie likes to be the top dog, so she would do best as an only dog, or with another submissive, calm male. She is great will all people - kids included. In her old home she was loved just a little too much, and she now needs to lose a little weight. She is also on medications currently that she takes every other day to control urinary incontinence and for arthritis as well. We also discovered that Sweet Sammie likes to chase cats so no kitties in her forever home please! She would love to be your best, most loyal friend. Do you have the room in your heart for Sammie?
