Copper was rescued with his sister and brother from his owner/breeder when she was unable to care for them.  This sweet boy was in terrible shape the day of his rescue.  All of the pups were living outside and covered in flies.  They were all treated for mange, skin infections and eye infections.  They were so itchy, that they were biting themselves raw.

All 3 pups were very underweight. Copper is a friendly boy and definitely the alpha pup in the litter.  We also noticed that his front legs are not straight, so we had Xrays taken.  The vet said that the growth plates look normal and he thinks that this is just related to his poor nutriion as a puppy.  He is hopeful that his legs will straighten out as he matures since he is on a good diet now.

Copper is doing well.  His skin is so much better and his hair is growing back nicely.  His front legs look improved as well.  He is enjoying his foster family, loves playing with another Mastiff there and does well with the cat too.

Copper is being fostered in Edmond, OK.
