Meet Hummer!  He is almost 3 years old and was rescued from a TX shelter last year.  He is a very sweet and friendly boy.  Hummer was adopted but his owner can no longer keep him because they travel for work, and he has separation anxiety and doesn't like to be left home alone.  He had been adopted through the shelter twice before coming to GPMR, and that frequent rehoming unfortunately has left its mark on this poor boy.  Hummer's adoption fee is waived for the right family.  His adoptive family will need to be understanding and patient while he gets adjusted to a new household.  He requires someone to be home with him all of the time - an ideal situation would be someone who can stay home with him or bring him to work.  Hummer would be best with a family with older kids who can play with him and keep him active.  He is a very intelligent dog and would benefit from having another dog his size to play with.  Please if you can help Hummer contact us - he is currently in a kennel and not happy - he needs a family of his own!

Hummer is being fostered in Ft. Worth, TX. Thanks to Jenny Froh for the gorgeous pics!
