Meet Jack!  He is a 1 year old pup who was surrendered to a local shelter because he would jump the fence when left outside alone all day.  We can't blame him, who wants to stay outside in this heat?  He would probably need a home with a 6 foot fence though, just to be sure.  Jack is all puppy and needs a family who wants to play as much as he does - he is full of life and super sweet!  A home with older kids would probably be best as he's a little too rambunctious for little ones.  He does well with other dogs and would benefit from having a doggie playmate his size.  He's 100 pounds and still has plenty of growing to do!  Jack wants to live inside the home as part of the family - is that family yours?

Jack is being fostered in Broken Arrow, OK.

08/17 UPDATE:  Jack is a doll. He is super smart and learns quickly. He would probably make a good agility Mastiff, which isn't something you hear every day!!!!!  Jack is treat and toy motivated, which helps with his training, and has lots of energy. Jack even adores his crate! Although he wants to be near his people, when they are close he will go into his crate to play with his toys!

At first he appeared to have hardly any training, but in one week has learned: sit, shake, down, fetch, drop it, kennel and he's almost completely housebroken.  He's still perfecting them, but he makes progress each day. He is still all puppy and can be rambunctious, and a little "mouthy" so older children would probably be best.
