Meet Bubba (formerly Clifford, the big red dog!) He was surrendered to a local animal shelter because he was too big for his owners to handle. They left him outside in the yard by himself. Bubba is only 2 years despite the pre-mature graying around his muzzle. He has a great temperament and gets along with other male and female dogs, but he does prefer the females. He is a huge teddy bear and loves to devote all of his attention to you...when he's not playing of course. He loves his evening walks with his foster four-legged sister.

Bubba would do best in a home with no children under the age of 15. He currently weighs 160 pounds. He has completed a basic obedience class. Large breed experience preferred, Bubba is a whole lot of dog!

Update: 2/08 He is very fond of larger female dogs but doesn't do well with male dogs. He has a very 'alpha' personality so he will need to go to a home with no other dogs or one large female dog would be fine. He has shown some food guarding issues in his foster home. This is easily handled by feeding separately and giving any food treats separate if he is in a home with another dog.
