PLEASE NOTE: GPMR communicates primarily by email. GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.

GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado.

!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

12/19/2011 UPDATE! Cassie is doing wonderful! She is very active and playful and now weights 104 pounds. Cassie loves her foster brother and sister and curls up between both to sleep at night. Cassie is doing well with housetraining and is beginning to enjoy going for rides in the car. Cassie just seems to get along with everyone, she is learning to love life and her infectious grin (complete with a precious underbite) and constant tail wagging show how much love she is ready to give. Cassie had a growth removed from her side, which after a biospy was determined to be a "Hermangiopericytomia", which is a tumor that will not spread to other parts of her body but will likely grow back in the same spot at some point.

Cassie came to us from a shelter in Kansas where she was found as a stray. She was extremely emaciated, weighing only 83 pounds, and by looking at her teeth, you can tell she's had a rough time. We estimate her age to be about 4. Everything seems new to Cassie. She is learning to be in a home and has already learned how to go to the door to ask out. She is a little shy at first, but since she seems to love everyone she meets, she will quickly warm up to you, getting an adorable entire body wiggle going. If she gets real happy, she even tries to smile at you, which is hysterical! More to come on Cassie as she is new to GPMR.
