GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.
  
GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado. 
!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

Daisy Mae is a true "gentle giant" who, unfortunately, has had a sad start to her life. She has been living chained to a doghouse while her owners tried to use her for breeding.  She did get pregnant but then was bitten by a snake and lost the litter.  At that time they decided they didn't want her anymore and advertised her in a local paper where she was rescued by GPMR volunteer Donna in AR. She is in good health other than she is very thin and she tested positive for heartworms. We've started her on medications to treat her heartworm treatment.
 
Daisy Mae is enjoying her time in foster care where she can run free in the backyard.  Her favorite toy is a squeaky monkey which she carries around with her in the yard.  She loves to sit by you and soak up the love. She also does very well in the car.
