Update: Bea has finished her heartworm treatment and tested negative for heartworms!!  She is doing well in her foster home!   We are so happy to hear that Bea seems to be adjusting and would love to see her adjust to her forever home....is that home with you?

Meet Bea!  She is about 5 years old.  She came into GPMR when her owner lost his home and wasn't able to keep his Mastiffs.  She arrived to us with 7 puppies.  Bea was such an amazing mom and her pups were all healthy even though she was skin and bones from not being fed enough.  She also has tested positive for heartworms.  She has been so friendly to everyone and she is fantastic with kids.  Now that her pups have all been adopted, she has been spayed and started treatment for heartworms.  She is currently being fostered with female Mastiff and other than wanting to be somewhat bossy like momma dogs are, she does well with other dogs.  She is not recommended for a home with small dogs or cats.

Bea is currently being fostered near Little Rock, AR.
