10/21/14 Update: Scrappy has shown a lot of improvement. His recheck Xrays showed the bone infection has resolved. He is more active and less stiff now, and doesn't seem to be in any pain, but still very slow to get up and down off the floor. However he runs and plays outside with his foster brother and sister with no problems. The specialist has advised to give him more time to see how he progresses.

Meet Scrappy! He was rescued from his owner who moved and left them behind with family who was unable to financially care for Scrappy. He had never lived inside before coming to us but is learning his house manners and is showing to be pretty well behaved. He gets along well with the dogs and cats in his foster home. Scrappy is being crate trained to help with his housebreaking and is making a lot of progress.

Scrappy is on medical hold for some unknown pain in his back. He has seen a specialist and we think he has an infection in his spine and that is currently being treated. We will post more updates on Scrappy as we get to know him and see how he is responding to treatment.

Scrappy is being fostered in Oklahoma City, OK.
