Meet Jessie. She and her brother came to GPMR as part of a cruelty case where she was said to be living in deplorable conditions. Luckily she is heartworm negative and in pretty good physical condition, although she could stand having alittle more meat on her bones.  She is a super friendly girl, her entire body wiggles and wags when she’s happy, which is most of the time. She is getting used to the finer things in life and loves her chew bones, new toys and sleeping in her very own comfy doggie bed.
She already knows sit, shake and has almost mastered  "lay down”.  Her foster family will continue to introduce her to the finer things in life as well as work on her socialization skills with other dogs.  Sadly, more than likley, her only playmate in her young three years, was her brother.  Jessie is now getting used to everyday noises and activities, such as car rides, hair dryers, crate training, etc.  With a little work, this gorgeous, happy girl will make someone a wonderful family member.  Maybe that could be you....

Lily is doing well with other dogs but will not be placed him a home with cats.
