5/22 Update:  "Gibby" as his foster mom lovingly calls him, is still initially timid around strangers but once he learns he can trust you, he warms up quickly and is extremely affectionate. Gibsons favorite pastime is to be outside in the fresh air, laying on the deck.  He will tolerate a bath and has never attempted to swim in the pool however he loves being outside so much, he will stand out in the pouring rain if given the opportunity!!  Who wouldn't want this love bug laying around their yard ??

 1/19 Gibson update!!!  Gibson's foster mom reports he is doing very well and is the perfect loyal companion. Gibson just wants a forever family who will reassure him that his love is returned. Gibson is still alittle nervous around loud noises or unfamiliar sounds, so we think he would do best in a home with older children or an adult home.  Gibson loves to just "hang out" and will lay outside on the deck for hours  He never scratches or barks to come inside and is content to spend his time relaxing.  Do you have an spot Gibson can relax in?

Meet Gibson! He is a Mastiff/Shepard mix who was rescued as a pup by GPMR and adopted out in 2008.  His family recently returned Gibson to the rescue because they have a new baby and felt he wasn't adjusting.  They reported he had become stressed with the baby being there, but he's been doing great since he's been back in our care.  We do think he'd be better in a home with older kids or an adult home.  Athough alittle timid at first Gibson warms up quickly and does great with other dogs.  We'd love to find him a home where he has a canine companion!  This boy has a lot of love to give.
