Meet Moose! His original owner passed away last year and Moose went to live with a friend.  Sadly the friend fell on hard times and was not able to keep him, and GPMR was able to take him.
Moose is about 5.5 years old and although he is obviously a "Giant" breed, he was an unhealthy 260+ pounds. He is now down to 230 pounds, with another 20-30 pounds to go. He is on a weight loss diet and goes out for daily walks to make sure he gets the exercise he needs. Moose tested positive for heartworms and is being treated for those.  We are guessing he is an American Mastiff as he looks more like an Anatolian Shepard/Mastiff cross than an English Mastiff.
Moose's personality matches his physical size - which is dominant..  Moose wants to be the only "King" of his "Kingdom".  His perfect forever home would be with an owner experience in dominant breeds, no young children and devoted only to him (meaning no other pets).
Don't get it wrong, Moose loves to meet everyone, he just needs his alone time in his own home.  Let's face it, Moose is just a big ole' bossy pants!  He has lots of love to give his family but needs a family who understands his needs.

Moose is being fostered in Oklahoma City, OK.
