Meet Odin! He came into rescue when his owner fell ill and went into Hospice care. Odin lived with a other female Mastiff and has done great with other dogs. We really aren't sure how old Odin is. His owner adopted him as an adult dog and thought he was 8 but our vet said closer to 5. It's anyone's guess but he definitely does not act like a senior dog.

We do know he did was not in the best shape when we got him. His ears were horribly infected and he had spots on his skin where he had scratched and chewed himself raw. He also has large calluses on his elbows that we see on dogs who live outside. With a flea treatment and medicated baths, his skin infection has cleared up nicely.

Odin also has small growths spread out all over his body and one large one that we removed surgically. Thankfully the biopsy came back as benign. The Vet thinks the other bumps are the same kind of mass and since they are small and not bothering him, she is not recommending additional surgery to remove those.

Odin tested negative for heartworms thankfully. He is ready for adoption!

Odin is being fostered in Guthrie, OK.
