Meet Roz! She was found as a stray in rural AR and brought to a shelter, where no one came to claim her. The shelter reached out to us and we were happy to take her in. She is estimated at 2 years old.
Roz was evaluated with dogs both large and small, as well as cats, and she did great with all of them. Because we don't have any history of her with children, a home with older kids (8 and up) would be best. Currently Roz's foster dad is working from home and so a home where someone is home part of the the day would be a great match for her. She's not used to be left alone for long periods of time. A house with a canine companion would be great too! Her adopter should prepare for quite of a bit of slobbler especially when she drinks water. She practically takes a dive into the water bowl!! When Roz was at the shelter, the shelter vet thought she seemed a little off in her hind end. So when we got her in, we had her xrayed and she was diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia. The Vet said it's not anything that is going to require surgery, but she needs to be kept lean and active and on joint supplements for life - which is something we recommend anyway for all of our Mastiffs! Other than being a little stiff when she first wakes up, we haven't seen anything other than a normal 2 year old pup. Roz has completed her vet care and is ready for adoption! Roz is being fostered in Tulsa, OK. More about RozGood with Dogs, Good with Cats
