PLEASE NOTE: GPMR communicates primarily by email. GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.

GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado.

!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

This is Big Foot. He is around 3 years old and a happy, happy boy. He came from a local shelter - we are guessing he is a mix of two Mastiff breeds, possibly English and Tibetan mastiffs. He is extremely underweight and will need to gain at least 60 lbs to get him where he should be. Currently, he only weighs 93 lbs so he'll need to stay in Rescue for several weeks while we get some weight on him. He has completed his vet work and is being treated for various infections that he has. He is a sweet boy who loves everyone. He also is a talker and likes to tell stories - with his history being unknown to us we are sure he has a lot to tell! You could not find a bigger goober than Bigfoot!

Update 8/5/09: Big Foot went to Doggy Daycare and had a blast! He introduced himself to every dog there and had a wonderful time. Big Foot has been the best foster his foster mom has had and she has had over 50! He loves the kids and follows them everywhere. He is housebroken and sleeps through the night. He hasn't met a stranger-people or dogs. Big Foot has gained 10lbs since being in GPMR's care, he now weighs 103 lbs! Thanks to his foster mom, Christy, for taking such great care of him.
