GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.
GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado.
!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

Meet Tessa! She came to GPMR via a shelter after her owner surrendered her there due to financial issues. They told the shelter she is 3 years old. The shelter reached out for rescue help and we were happy to take this super sweet girl!
Tessa has a wonderful personality, and is very affectionate. She is a quick learner, she loves my doggy door and going in and out as she pleases. At first she wanted to play with the cats, but they were not interested and now she no longer chases them. She knows what “no” means, and she’s learning she has to respect & share with her foster brother Mastiff. She would be great with another dog her size to play with. Tessa is a true velcro Mastiff and by her foster mom's side constantly! She’s higher energy for the breed and loves to run & romp in the yard. She would do well in a home kids ages 8 + that would play with her outside. She's on the short side as well and weighs about 105 lbs.
Tessa is heartworm negative and got a clean bill of health at the vet. We're working on basic commands and leash training as well. The first day she came in, when we leashed her she laid down on the ground right away. Luckily she's super motivated for positive attention and some treats so she's been a quick study!
