GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.

GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado.

!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

Josiah means save and he was saved in the nick of time from a shelter. "Joey" came into rescue with an eye and skin infection, kennel cough and very underweight. Both are being treated but the eye infection had gone on so long it's possible he will be blind in that eye. We are treating with medications hoping that his sight will return but only time will tell. He is a beatiful Apricot and based on his puppy like behavior we estimate he is about a year old.

His foster mom reports that he is a stage 5 clinger. He has to be touching you at all times, when you move he moves. He has to sit right on top of your feet. He is definitely that "lap dog" Mastiff. He just wants to kiss and cuddle. When Joey is outside, he is a wild man and loves to run and play. A home with a canine playmate for him would be perfect! He is a strong dog who would be too much for small children to handle. He would benefit from obedience training which we are starting in foster care. Also he is a house dog and does not like to be outside alone without his family. All Joey wants is to be saved by a home with more than enough love to give. Saving him could save yourself from a life without slobbery kisses and drooling love.
