Meet Manfred, aka Manny.  He is new to GPMR so we are still learning about him.  His age is estimated at 3-4 years old.  What we do know is that he came from a shelter and was emaciated.  We are working on putting some much needed weight on this boy.  He clearly had a home at one point in his life.  He knows how to sit pretty and give you his paw when you show him a treat!  He has a bend on one of his back legs that the vet thinks is either something he was born with or poor nutrition as a puppy.  It doesn't seem to bother him at all!  He has eye and ear infections that we are treating.  This boy is good with other animals and older kids however he does not like it when other dogs come near him while he is eating so he must be fed separately.  This is not uncommon when someone has let a dog starve like Manny has.   Once he learns that there is plenty of food coming he should be better.  He doesn't mind getting a bath and does enjoy car rides.
Manny will be on medical hold for a few weeks while he gains enough weight for his neuter surgery.  He is a great boy, please consider him for your home today - but you must LOVE drool as he has a lot to share with you!
Manny is being fostered in Tulsa, OK.
