Woodrow originally came to GPMR Oklahoma shelter in March of 2010. He had been horribly neglected, was infested with fleas, had skin infection and eye infections, was emactiated and heartworm positive. We nursed him back to health and treated his heartworms and he was adopted out several months later. Woodrow was recently returned to GPMR through no fault of his own, and now is looking for a very special family to give him the forever home this boy truly deserves.
Woodrow has an eye condition called Keratoconjunctivitis sicca KCS or "dry eye". He will need to be on daily eye drops to prevent his eyes from getting infected again. He is such a good boy and does not mind getting his drops! He is a wonderful boy all around. He is close to 6 years old now, good with dogs of all sizes, cats and kids too. He is getting a little slow to get up and down which the vet suspects is early arthritis - he doesn't require meds for that now but will at some point in the future. Woodrow is everyone's friend and has never met a stranger - just a great all around boy!
Woodrow is being fostered in Edmond, OK. More about WoodrowGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids Sponsors: Robert Perhach
