GPMR does not have a shelter. All of our dogs are kept in loving foster homes. We must have a completed adoption application on file before meeting any of our mastiffs.

GPMR adopts to the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana and parts of Colorado.

!!!Any mastiffs being adopted out of the state of Oklahoma require a health certificate to be paid for by the adopter!!!

Hi my name is Ellie May and I'm a good ole country gal. I was found deep in the Lousiana Bayou. I am not sure how long I was wandering alone but it seemed like a long time. If I could have caught some crawfish I might have been OK, but they were too fast for me and so I lost a lot of weight, which I am now working to gain back. Some nice folks found me and took me to nearby vet hospital where I was rescued by my friends at GPMR. When I am back up to a healthy weight, I need to be spayed since I've already had too many puppies in my lifetime. I am heartworm positive so I'll need to be treated for those too. The vet says I am between 4 and 6 years old.

I am still pretty new to GPMR and figuring things out. My foster mom will send updates as I get used to a world where food is abudant, I have a safe place to rest my head and I start feeling better.

Ellie May will be on medical hold while she undergoes heartworm treatment but feel free to apply for her today!

She is being fostered in Greenwell Springs, LA.
