7/30/2012 Update: Pixie was adopted and returned to GPMR. She didn't seem to adjust well to living in a home with very young children and it was too much for her to be able to settle in. She is still searcing for her forever home, preferably with older kids who can be gentle with her as she is a dainty girl! Please consider Pixie, she just wants a family to call her own! 5/21/2012 Update: In the words of Pixie's foster mom "Pixie has really come out of her shell!" Pixie is eager to please and enjoys romping and playing with her four legged foster brother - who is a very active Boxer! At meal time Pixie runs to her designate eating area and waits patiently on her food - what a smart girl. Pixie is ready and waiting on a wonderful forever family to call her own! 3/14/2012 Update: Pixie's foster mom reports Pixie is now at her ideal weight! Pixie has a beautiful coat and looks very much the healthy Mastiff! 1/27/2012 Update: Pixie is settling into her foster home nicely. She is a very sweet and laid back gal. Pixie walks away from quick movements and loud noises, and appears to be timid of stairs. She is great with kids and good with other dogs too. As Pixie becomes more familiar to her foster family we will post updates! Looking for a sweet gal with lots of personality? That's me - Pixie! I was rescued by the volunteers at GPMR from a shelter in Oklahoma. I am a laid back lady who loves to be petted and loved on. My favorite place is lounging on the floor with my head in your lap! My new foster mom says I can be real stubborn (not me!) but she loves how my tongue sometimes just falls out... and stays out. She thinks it's cute! My foster family is helping me to put some weight back on and taking better care of my skin and coat. The vet thinks I am 5-6 years old. I've lived with kids and other dogs, and also met some kitties and did fine with everyone. Don't you think I would make a good addition to your family? Pixie is being fostered near Denver, CO.
