UPDATE:

Oakley is doing beautifully. He does great with medium to large sized dogs.  Oakley also does well with cats.  He is a total goofball and eager to please. He is potty trained. He is not kennel trained but he stays out when home alone and he does beautifully. He sleeps in the living room at night with no issues. In public he is doing great and not scared like he used to be. We will continue to work on socialization - at home he is an angel he would fit just about any home. A home with other animals we think would be ideal. He is really well behaved, no chewing or anything in the house.  His favorite toy is a tennis ball!

Meet Oakley.  He was rescued in AR and in very bad shape.  He is emaciated, was infested with fleas and intestinal parasites, scared and confused.  He's started his vet care and gotten the parasites taken care of, and his foster mom is working on getting some much needed weight on this boy!

Oakley is coming out of his shell - he's learning how to be a house dog as we suspect he'd never been indoors before we got him.  He's doing well with the other dogs in his foster home.  Oakley would do best in a home with older kids or no kids as the noises that come along with little ones seem to scare him.  He is such a sweet boy and has a long road ahead.  He'll be on medical hold until released by the vet for adoption.

Oakley is being fostered in Hot Springs, AR.
